Repeat content based on values from multiple select

How do I generate rows in repeat content based on values selected in a select Box-Multi.
The requirment is to have a set of text Boxes for each row that is generated depending on an input from a slect box(could be single or a multiple).
This is an urgent need.
Would greatly appreciate your response.

We really do need more detail. The requirement is not clear.
Here are some queries to get started:

The user has a multi-select drop down list displayed, the user can then select one or more entries. We need to understand the mechanics of the UI.

How do you know when these values should create new rows? What will trigger the processing of rows?[/*]
Will there be pre-populated values coming from somewhere for the multi-select, but then the user can select more options?[/*]
What will trigger the need for new rows e.g. events or server side processing?[/*]
Does it have to be processed on the browser side, or can the multi-select values be sent to the server using the map to XML element binding option for the multi-select? [/*]
Can you then have rules on the server side to create XML repeating rows for each entry?[/*]
Can you use partial page submission for the addition of the rows?[/*]
Is it possible for the multi-select to have no values? Will it be possible to have no repeating rows? [/*]
What is the data relationship between the multi-select and the rows?[/*]
Will the rows of data be mapped to a Data Source? [/*]
What is the structue of the repeating rows data, and is that separate to the multi-select? [/*]
How many values for the multi-select can there be?[/*]
