- Source Control - Currently, WebMaker projects have to be configured to work with external Source Code Control systems. With the release of version 7, WebMaker now includes integrated check-in and check-out capabilities within the Studio, without the need to configure separate systems.[/*]
- Auto-Save - The check-in and check-out features work in collaboration with the new auto-save feature. This feature tracks all your save actions since your last check-in operation and can be used to revert back to different stages in your project history. [/*]
- Project Sharing and Collaboration - WebMaker now has the ability to setup Team Servers, which can be used to share and download projects. This module works in tandem with the new source code control feature to provide useful project status information. These new features ensure co-ordination of project information across local and shared environments, providing visibility of user roles, project ownership state and current source code control status at all times.[/*]
- Project Templates - WebMaker 7 provides a simplified and more intuitive template creation and usage facility. You can now designate any project as a template that can be used as the basis for new projects. Whenever you create a new project you can select a template of your choice.[/*]
- New Repository Structure - The new source control and collaboration features utilise the new repository structure. The new structure encapsulates user data, including user-preference settings, within a single directory which can be useful for backup and administration tasks. [/*]
- Controlled Upgrade Process - WebMaker 7 will migrate your projects during installation as usual, but it will not automatically upgrade them. When you migrate or import projects, WebMaker will provide a more detailed and controlled upgrade process to manage your older projects. You will be presented with different upgrade options depending on the age of your projects and WebMaker will make suggestions on the best course of action.[/*]
- General Features and Bug Fixes - This release includes a range of fixes and enhancements, including additional design controls.[/*]
