Bizflow Office Engine Integration

Is it possible to integrate the Bizflow Office Engine task creation page onto a Webmaker page?

I've tried calling the task creation URL within an Iframe but I believe that it requires parameters to be passed to it for it to work with the WIH.

Are you trying to get the page to display, or just start an Office Engine Task? I'm not sure how you would show the actual page, but Office Engine is a process in Bizflow which can be started by a Web Service call. You can setup a Web Service to it in the Web Service page of the Integration menu under Administration, just like if you are starting your own process. There might even be delivered Web Service calls you can use instead.

If you are just wanting to show a task, you can setup multiple "Apps" in your Bizflow process action that show as separate tabs in the work item handler to the user. Your Webmaker form would be one app, and the Office Engine Task the other. However, I'm not sure it would work correctly because Bizflow sees them as separate processes with different process id's.

I think the best place to post this question would be on the Handysoft Community site. They could probably help you more on this than Hyfinity might be able to.

I worked out how to get it working for now and posted the following in the HSG Community forum........

I have now integrated OE with a mandatory WM application.

Add both the WM application (set to Mandatory) and the "Office Engine Integration Form" (set to Don't Care) to the Bizflow Process within BPS and have the wihmode = BASIC_NOAPPBTNATTACH

Within Webmaker a couple of tweaks are required to help maintain state and to also allow the automatic completion of a mandatory WM application.

To handle the maintaining state as you switch from WM to OE and back you need to add an External Event to the form "onWorkitemTabChange" with the following custom script (based on the onWorkitemSave custom script).
